Acid Rain

Acid Rain is Rain which has a pH of 3-5. It created when Sulphur Dioxide and Nitrogen Oxide react with the water in the sky. These gases are created mainly by humans releasing fossil fuels, or natural causes like volcanic action and rotting plants.

How can we prevent it?

We can prevent acid rain by:

• Using less cars using fossil fuels
• Change to using electric
• Turn down heating
• Use less stuff that rely on fossil fuels
